Foothills Sauvignon Blanc 2023

With its close proximity to the sea, and directly influenced by the cooling afternoon breezes, this wine shows attractive cool climate characteristics. There’s an array of perfume, lemon grass, greengage and papaya, with a dusty graphite top note, following onto the palate, with verve and freshness. There’s a tangy effect which extends the flavours, and although it ends crisply dry, the impression is satisfyingly full, there’s palate weight due to a small portion of Semillon. A versatile wine, characterful enough to match a variety of dishes.
